Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery on complex infrastructure projects across rail, highways, utilities and energy. You will manage cost, change, risk, value and contractual performance while strengthening client relationships and guiding project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying and commercial management within infrastructure, construction or related built-environment sectors.
• Strong grasp of commercial delivery, contract administration, cost management, change control and risk management.
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts; accreditation desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client and team relationships.
• Collaborative mindset with interest in supporting others and maintaining a high-performing culture.
• Professional membership or progress towards membership with a relevant body (RICS/CICES) welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the commercial delivery of complex infrastructure projects, managing cost, change, risk, value and contractual performance.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and project teams through clear communication and practical commercial advice.
• Apply NEC contracts knowledge and broader commercial processes to support disciplined project delivery.
• Contribute to procurement, contract administration, forecasting, reporting and governance across commissions.
• Support, coach and develop colleagues to foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to strengthen service offerings and identify commercial opportunities.
