Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead high-value projects across UK infrastructure sectors. You will mentor junior staff, manage commercial delivery, and collaborate with clients, stakeholders and contractors to ensure profitable outcomes.

Flexible and remote working are central, with a focus on delivering excellence and continuous improvement while developing client relationships and growing our services across Water, Rail, Highways and beyond.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Progress towards professional chartership (RICS or equivalent)
• Extensive experience with UK construction contracts
• Experience in cost planning, estimating, benchmarking and commercial management
• Strong analytical and numerical skills and data interpretation
• Proficient IT skills including cost management tools
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration
• Experience leading business development for major clients

• Lead delivery of high-quality projects and build trusted client relationships
• Support and develop emerging talent within the team
• Shape and strengthen a high-value, profitable service offering
• Apply NEC contract knowledge to deliver projects with rigour and commercial discipline
• Bring a proactive, commercially minded approach adding value for clients
• Manage and mentor quantity surveying and commercial teams
• Develop existing relationships and grow new ones
