Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team across residential, healthcare and commercial sectors. You will own the commercial strategy, prepare forecasts, valuations and final accounts, manage variations and risk, and lead junior commercial staff while collaborating with the pre-construction and project teams.

Qualifications

• Commercial awareness and sector knowledge.
• Adjudication / dispute resolution experience.
• Leadership and delegation skills.
• Understanding of legal aspects and procurement processes.
• CVR appreciation and reporting.
• Effective presentation and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage people and situations commercially.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the commercial strategy and adapt with MQS as the project develops.
• Liaise with the team and influence/challenge the construction process.
• Prepare and present forecasts, valuations, certificates and final accounts.
• Manage variations with proper records and progress.
• Oversee junior commercial staff and provide mentorship.
• Support tenders and two-stage tendering with pre-construction.
