Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd in London seeks experienced Quantity Surveyors to support commercial functions across residential, healthcare and commercial sectors. You will implement commercial strategy and assist with tenders, valuations, CVRs and final accounts, while maintaining rigorous site records and financial control.

The role requires degree-level education in QS and exposure to contract knowledge (JCT, CIOB).

Qualifications

• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively utilise a range of technology platforms
• Be fully conversant with the use of the Standard Method of Measurement
• Demonstrate ownership/commercial awareness
• Effective time management, organisational, interpersonal and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Implement commercial strategy
• Support commercial functions and assist with tenders and final accounts
• Prepare tenders, analyse subcontract packages, negotiate terms
• Maintain site records and document control
• Site measurement records and CV reconciliations
• Valuations and variations with records and progress
• Update projected Final Account and submit timely
• Liaise with site management to protect commercial entitlement
• Support AQS & TQS oversight and ensure quality of their work
• Maintain and control documents and records
