Navartis Ltd. seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities for civil engineering and earthworks projects in Mold, North Wales. The role emphasizes NEC contract administration, cost control, and proactive problem-solving to support project delivery.

Ideal candidates will have extensive civils experience, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to work independently. Freelance contract runs through February 2027, based on-site in Mold.

Formación

• Proven Senior Quantity Surveyor experience in civils and earthworks.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and their application on site.
• Confident managing client-facing commercial responsibilities.
• Commercially switched on, proactive and able to work independently.
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available to commit to the contract through to end-February 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the commercial aspects of civil engineering and earthworks packages.
• Prepare and manage valuations, applications for payment, variations and change control.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and commercial performance.
• Administer NEC contracts, including assessing compensation events and notifications.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors and clients to resolve commercial issues.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and provide regular cost and progress reports.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities to keep projects within financial parameters.
