Following the award of several new projects, a leading engineering organisation is looking to add Senior Quantity Surveyors with experience of working on civil engineering projects to their Cardiff based team.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial deliver of a wide spectrum of civil engineering projects in the nuclear, highways, rail, energy and defence markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Administering NEC suite of contracts

Providing pre and post-contract quantity surveying services

Managing the commercial aspects of Infrastructure projects in sectors including highways, rail, energy, utilities, MOD, and aviation

Preparing and reviewing procurement documents required for ITT (Invitation to Tender)

Mentoring and coaching junior staff members

Developing and maintaining client relationships

Innovating sustainable and cost-effective solutions for clients

Job Requirements:

Experience in quantity surveying with a commercial degree or equivalent qualification

Experience of working on civil engineering projects

Working towards or holding a recognised chartership

Proficiency in NEC contract administration

Good understanding of construction techniques and technology

Experience in managing medium-sized projects with minimal supervision

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Strong written and oral communication skills

Proven ability to work effectively within multiple teams and with various stakeholders
