Daniel Owen Ltd is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a 16m retrofit refurbishment project in Bristol. You will lead commercial management, oversee budgets and reporting, and maximise contractual entitlements.

The role requires strong NEC4 knowledge (desirable) and experience in social housing projects, with excellent Excel skills and a proactive approach to risk management. Hybrid working with on-site presence in Bristol is available.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge essential.
• Proficient in Excel with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Bristol 65,000 + Benefits - Retrofit

I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading social housing specialist on a newly secured 16m retrofit refurbishment contract.

The project covers 4 high-rise buildings, including cladding renewals, mass-climber scaffolding and associated refurbishment works.

The role:

• Lead commercial management of the 16m contract.

• Manage costs, budgets, cash flow and financial reporting.

• Ensure full contractual entitlement and maximise commercial performance.

• Manage subcontractor orders, variations, disputes and commercial risk.

• Provide contractual and commercial advice to the project team.

• Work closely with the client, supply chain and internal stakeholders.

We're looking for:

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS.

• Social housing refurbishment experience.

• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.

• Excellent Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

• Experience with management accounts and financial reporting.

• NEC4 knowledge desirable.

• Retrofit experience advantageous.

• Relevant industry qualification.

• Full UK driving licence.

Package:
