Are you a Senior Quantity Surveypor ready to take the lead on a landmark education project and play a key role in delivering a brand-new facility that will make a lasting difference to future generations

We re looking for an ambitious and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction team on an exciting new-build education project. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the commercial function on a major scheme, lead a team of two, and make your mark on a project with a real purpose.

The Opportunity

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you ll play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of the project, working closely with the wider delivery team to ensure the scheme is delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

You ll take responsibility for the commercial management of the project while leading, mentoring and developing a team of two, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and influence key commercial decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the commercial management of a major new-build education project from procurement through to final account.

What We re Looking For

Ideally, you ll have:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
• Experience working on large-scale new-build construction projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial management skills.
• Experience managing, mentoring or developing junior commercial team members.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and the confidence to make commercially sound decisions.
• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

Experience delivering education projects would be advantageous.
