VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Aviation team on the Stansted Airport project. You will manage costs, budgets and contracts, supporting the team to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires an accredited RICS/CIOB/ICES course and extensive Project QS experience with a Tier 1 main contractor, coupled with strong communication and resilience under pressure. An opportunity to contribute to vital infrastructure across civil engineering and construction.

Qualifications

• Accredited course by RICS/CIOB/ICES.
• Adequate experience as a Project QS from a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
• Knowledge of construction management, sustainable construction techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive initiative and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage costs, budgets and contracts for the Stansted Airport project.
• Support the project team to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Aviation team working on our project at Stansted Airport. The Senior Quantity Surveyor is an important part of the project team and helps make sure projects are managed well from a commercial point of view. This role involves managing costs, budgets, and contracts, supporting the team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget., Our preference is to hire directly, and we will reach out to our Preferred Supplier List (PSL) agencies if this particular role qualifies for release.

• An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
• Adequate experience as a Project QS from a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction management, construction and sustainable construction techniques.
• Good communicator.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Effective use of Initiative.
