Job summary

Hill & Hill Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major £90m refurbishment project in Oxford. You will assume commercial responsibility from procurement through final account alongside the Managing QS.

The role offers £90,000 - £100,000 plus package and bonus, with potential to progress towards a Managing Quantity Surveyor position on a technically complex scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts, procurement, CVR and final accounts.
• Able to manage projects or major packages with minimal supervision.
• Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Refurbishment, commercial, healthcare, education or life sciences experience beneficial.

Our client, a leading Tier 1 main contractor, is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a major £90m refurbishment project in Oxford. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work alongside the Managing QS, taking commercial responsibility for key elements of the project from procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract procurement and accounts.
• Produce CVRs, forecasts and cost reports.
• Manage valuations, variations and change control.
• Manage commercial risk and final accounts.
• Work closely with the client, project team and supply chain.

Requirements
