Job summary

Foster & May is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Sheffield to join a close-knit QS team. The role covers pre- and post-contract services, including cost planning, estimates, contract administration and final accounts on residential developments.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years’ experience, PQS/consultancy exposure, MRICS preferred, and a driving licence. Hybrid working is offered with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• PQS/Consultancy experience required or desirable.
• MRICS qualification preferred.
• Must have a driving licence.
• Ability to work well in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-contract services.
• Carry out cost planning and produce cost estimates.
• Manage contract administration and final accounts.
• Support residential developments with the team.

A global Quantity Surveying Consultancy with several collaborative teams across the UK is looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their Sheffield office.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a close-knit team in the city who are working across an array of residential developments.

Day to day, the new Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for an array of pre and post contract services including cost planning, producing cost estimates, contract admin, and final accounts.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• 5+ years Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience within a PQS / Consultancy experience
• Ideally MRICS
• Comfortable working in a small team
• Driving licence
