Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will play a key role in estimating and controlling costs for innovative projects, ensuring compliance with legal and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in all project phases, from inception to completion.

Candidates with civil engineering experience are encouraged to apply.

The role involves a mix of office work and site visits, so a valid UK driving licence is required. Please only apply if you are open to travel.

• Lead the preparation of internal commercial reports and other required documentation
• Prepare valuations and payment applications, ensuring all documentation complies with the contract
• Deliver detailed Cost Reports to clients with accurate, contractually compliant supporting documents
• Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier accounts, from requisition to final account agreement
• Handle contract administration, including managing changes and maintaining registers
• Assess commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering options, and changes
• Utilize costing systems to improve processes and decision-making
• Assist in preparing internal commercial reports and related documents

ABOUT YOU

• Relevant industry qualifications
• Strong commercial awareness with knowledge of standard contracts and measurement methods
• Effective negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills
• Experience in construction or engineering sectors with a solid commercial background
• Proficiency in NEC forms of contract
• At least 2 years in a senior role
