Job summary

ERSG Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a freelance/contract role on a major construction project in Hampshire. You will manage commercial and contractual aspects, coordinate with project teams and stakeholders, and ensure delivery of cost reporting and procurement for allocated works.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on construction/infrastructure projects, strong cost control and forecasting skills, and hold a valid CSCS card.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on construction, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual management experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and commercial packages.
• Valid CSCS Card is required.

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Freelance Contract

Location: Hampshire

Contract: Freelance / Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major construction and infrastructure project based in Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the successful delivery of a significant project. You will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the works, working closely with project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of allocated packages and works.


• Preparing and managing project cost reports and forecasts.


• Managing subcontractor procurement, packages and accounts.


• Assessing variations and change management.


• Supporting project budgets and cost control.


• Preparing valuations and managing payments.


• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
