Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for high-end residential projects across Surrey and surrounding counties.

You will take ownership of commercial management from pre-construction through final account, working with project managers and site teams to ensure financial control and value delivery. The role requires a commercially astute professional with strong contractual knowledge, attention to detail and experience managing costs, procurement and financial risk

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in high-end residential construction or main contracting.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to completion.
• Procure subcontract packages and manage supplier relationships.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Manage valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Identify, assess and manage commercial and contractual risks.
• Monitor project budgets and maintain financial control throughout delivery.
• Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to support successful project outcomes.
• Ensure commercial processes and contractual obligations are managed effectively.

Job Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction contractor delivering high-end residential projects across Surrey and the surrounding counties.

Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will take ownership of the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. The role would suit a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with strong contractual knowledge, excellent attention to detail and experience managing costs, procurement and financial risk.
