Job summary

Foster & May Limited in Norwich is seeking an intelligent Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit team. You will deliver pre and post contract work across infrastructure, commercial and private education sectors, while mentoring junior QSs and supporting APC diaries.

The ideal candidate will hold a Quantity Surveying degree (or RICS accreditation), with 5-6 years PQS consultancy experience, MRICS would be a plus, and the ability to manage projects independently.

• Minimum 5–6 years' experience as a QS.
• Experience in a PQS consultancy.
• MRICS would be a plus.
• Excellent pre and post contract experience.
• Client facing.
• Able to manage and deliver projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre and post contract work on a mixture of projects at different life-cycle stages (infrastructure, commercial, private education).
• Support and mentor less experienced Quantity Surveyors with APC diary and day-to-day work.

A leading Quantity Surveying construction consultancy is seeking an intelligent Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit team in Norwich.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for delivering, pre and post contract, a mixture of projects at different stages of their life cycles, including infrastructure, commercial and private education. Alongside project delivery, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will also support and mentor the less experienced Quantity Surveyors with their APC diary and general, day to day work.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Quantity Surveying degree (or RICS accredited)
• At least 5-6 years' Quantity Surveying experience
• Worked within a PQS consultancy
• MRICS would be a plus
• Excellent pre and post contract experience
• Client facing
• Able to manage and deliver projects independently
