Job summary

Foster & May Limited is seeking a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Cardiff office, handling a broad mix of healthcare, education, residential and listed building projects. The role covers end-to-end involvement from assisting partners in selecting construction contracts and negotiating terms to mentoring junior QS' and ensuring project success.

The successful candidate will have a Quantity Surveyor degree (or RICS) with MRICS preferred, strong pre/post-contract experience, PQS

• Completed a Quantity Surveyor degree or RICS associated degree.
• Ideally MRICS.
• Good Pre and post contract experience.
• PQS consultancy experience.
• Car and driver's license.
• Comfortable in client facing position.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of projects across healthcare, education, residential and listed buildings.
• Involved from start to finish, assisting partners in contract selection and negotiating terms, guiding junior QS'.

Job description

A close-knit construction consultancy is seeking a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Cardiff office.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work on a wide range of projects across an array of sectors, including healthcare, education, residential and listed buildings.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be heavily involved in projects from beginning to end, from assisting the partners in the selection of construction contracts and negotiating favourable terms to providing support and guidance to the junior QS'.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Completed a Quantity Surveyor degree or RICS associated degree.
• Ideally MRICS
• Good Pre and post contract experience
• PQS consultancy experience
• Car and driver's license
• Comfortable in client facing position
