Kier Group plc is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial resources on regional education, health and defence projects. You will maximise gross margin through contract placement and control while supporting safe, on-time delivery with quality outcomes.
You will lead the commercial team, negotiate variations, value work for invoicing, manage cash flow, and build strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers while mitigating commercial risks.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage the commercial resources of assigned projects, maximising planned gross margin through effective contract placement and control. You'll play a vital role in assessing and mitigating commercial risks whilst supporting the delivery of major regional projects. Working within our Construction business, you'll be part of a team that values long-term relationships and collaborative working, delivering projects across education, health, defence, and other key strategic sectors.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering projects safely, on time, and to the required quality. Your day to day will include:
