Job summary

Kier Group in Gerrard's Cross is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on a multi-million pound project in London. You will provide forecasts, manage cost/value reporting and ensure subcontractor payments align with forecasts.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, a full UK driving licence, and strong IT or MS Excel skills. The position is full-time with flexible/hybrid options where possible.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence holder.
• Experience in a similar Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
• Confident IT skills with MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial input including forecasts to management.
• Prepare monthly cost/value reports and review trends.
• Produce commercial reports and review results with contract teams.
• Measure works and agree figures with client/subcontractors.
• Agree certification and payment of subcontractor accounts against forecasts.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team,initially on a multi million pound project in London.

Your day to day will include:

• Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team. Help ensure that business targets and KPI's are exceeded


• Preparation of monthly cost / value reports for area, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members


• Production of commercial reports together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members


• Physical measurement of works and agreement of same with client and subcontractors


• Agreement of certification and payment of subcontractor accounts - monitoring of such accounts against forecasts

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

• Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence


• Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience


• Experience within a similar role


• Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel

Location: Gerrard's Cross
