Job summary

A reputable property developer in Surrey is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial aspects of developments. Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Strong understanding of residential and mixed-use construction.
Proven experience managing budgets and delivering projects on time.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field (RICS accreditation desirable).
Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Lead all commercial functions from feasibility through to final account.
Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee procurement strategies, tender analysis, and contract negotiations.
Manage valuations, variations, and final account settlements.

An established and forward‑thinking Surrey‑based property developer is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. With a strong pipeline of residential and mixed‑use projects across Surrey and the South East, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high‑quality developments from inception through to completion.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee all commercial and financial aspects of multiple developments, working closely with internal design, technical, and delivery teams. You’ll manage cost planning, procurement, and contract administration, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standard.
