Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor for a residential developer in South East Scotland.

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading residential developer? A well-established and highly regarded housebuilder is seeking a skilled professional to manage commercial aspects of high-quality new build developments in South Fife and surrounding areas.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take charge of all financial and contractual matters for multiple residential projects, ensuring cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest standards. You will work closely with the construction and commercial teams, providing strategic input and expertise to optimise financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project costs, budgets, and financial planning.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct risk assessments and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate valuations, variations, and cost reports.
- Support the commercial team in optimising project profitability.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous private housing experience and strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
