Senior Quantity Surveyor - Manufacturing

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established and successful manufacturing organisation based in Bury. Working as part of the Commercial team, this is a permanent role offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Management and delivery of all commercial aspects of allocated projects
2. Preparation of departmental and project budgets
3. Preparation and management of recovery sheets for sub-contractors
4. Arrangement and participation in project team meetings
5. Overseeing the commercial close-out of projects

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a manufacturing environment, preferably with a structural steel background. You should possess excellent commercial and relationship management skills, along with strong negotiation abilities. A degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying would be advantageous but is not essential.

Benefits:

This role offers an attractive salary of £50,000 - £60,000, along with excellent benefits and opportunities for career progression. The working hours are 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with an early finish on Fridays.
