As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for delivering work driven by excellence - and doing the right thing. We work on high-profile commissions across various sectors including infrastructure, education, corporate real estate, retail, residential, aviation, and healthcare. You'll build long-term, sustainable relationships with clients and support your colleagues' career growth. We are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our diverse project portfolio across education, residential, commercial, aviation, and hotel property sectors.

Your Purpose:

1. Lead and manage commercial aspects of projects including governance, fee management, internal costings, and resource planning.
2. Manage client relationships and service delivery collaboratively with colleagues.
3. Work with project management, health & safety, and building surveying teams to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Monitor all work stages to ensure quality and professionalism in service delivery.
5. Contribute to generating repeat and new business opportunities.
6. Apply quality assurance and environmental management principles per organizational policies.
7. Manage junior colleagues, including performance reviews and mentoring.
8. Support client procurement strategies.
9. Be present on-site as required.
10. Prepare estimates, cost plans, tender documents, and reports.
11. Provide post-contract quantity surveying services.
12. Prepare data and reports as per management and client requirements.

What you can bring:

1. BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.
2. Chartered member of RICS (or equivalent, desirable).
3. Broad knowledge of local markets with a track record supporting business growth.
4. Experience with public and private sector clients on major projects; familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts.
5. Commercial awareness, team working, and people management skills.
6. Understanding of project components, costs, and procurement options.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Proficiency in Office, Outlook, BIM/CAD measure, Cost-X software.
9. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
10. Full driving license.
