Job summary

Gold Group Limited is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure programme in West London. You’ll own subcontract accounts from placement through to final account, with input into cost control, forecasting and risk on a complex tunnelling and civils package delivered under NEC3.

You’ll work under a Commercial Manager, liaising with engineering, project management and the client's commercial team.

Qualifications

• NEC3/NEC4 contract experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying (MRICS/MCInstCES desirable).
• Strong cost control, forecasting and subcontract account management.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Proactive, self-starting approach within an integrated team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and agreeing interim applications and final accounts with subcontractors
• Managing subcontracts end-to-end, including procurement input and documentation
• Producing monthly cost reports, forecasts and CVRs
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and feeding these into the wider project team
• Supporting change control, valuations and contractual correspondence
• Liaising closely with engineering, project management and the client's commercial team

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Infrastructure Project, West London

Contract | 9 Months | Inside IR35 | £550-£650 per day (8hr day)

A tier-one main contractor delivering one of the UK's largest civil engineering programmes is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major tunnelling and civils package in West London.

You’ll work under a Commercial Manager, taking ownership of subcontract accounts from placement through to final account, with real input into cost control, forecasting and risk on a complex project being delivered under the NEC3 contract.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing and agreeing interim applications and final accounts with subcontractors

What you’ll bring:

• Solid grounding in cost control, forecasting and subcontract account management


• Right to Work in the UK


• A proactive, self-starting approach - able to operate independently within an integrated team
