Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on major UK rail and civil infrastructure schemes. You will own projects from tender through final accounts, working with clients, project teams and senior stakeholders to drive profitability.

The role offers involvement in high-profile infrastructure projects with a strong order book, long-term security and a challenging commercial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within rail, civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from tender stage through to final account.
• Administering NEC3 contracts.
• Producing and managing CVRs.
• Pricing and commercially managing smaller works packages.
• Providing commercial support to project delivery teams.
• Managing self-delivery project costs and performance.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

West London | £400-£450 per day | Outside IR35

Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience working for a specialist subcontractor in the rail, civil engineering, or infrastructure sectors?

We are recruiting on behalf of a large and highly respected specialist contractor delivering major rail and civil engineering projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of several high-value projects.

The Opportunity

You'll take commercial ownership of projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with project teams, clients, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and financial performance.

The position offers involvement in a flagship, long-term infrastructure project, alongside a major rail civil engineering design and build scheme, providing both stability and variety.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing projects from tender stage through to completion and final account settlement
• Administering and managing NEC3 contracts

About You

To be considered, you should have:

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within rail, civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction
• Strong NEC contract knowledge
• Experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• A proactive and commercially focused approach
