Job description

Join our client, a global leader in the food industry, as a Senior Quality Control Technician! In this role, you will ensure the high quality and safety of flavourings, extracts, and essences that drive brand innovation and delight consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out all quality control tasks efficiently, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
2. Test ingredients and finished products thoroughly, utilizing resources effectively.
3. Conduct organoleptic testing to assess flavour quality.
4. Release ingredients and finished products that meet all quality and safety criteria.
5. Record and store test results and data systematically.
6. Collaborate to address non-conforming products and implement corrective actions.
7. Assist in investigating customer complaints and propose improvements in equipment and evaluation processes.

Requirements:

• Understanding of quality roles within the food industry.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in the flavour industry and familiarity with IT/LIMS database systems (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of the food industry, especially in quality roles, is advantageous.
• Driving license is required.
