Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to lead the QMS across London and support internal manufacturing, suppliers, and allied facilities. You will ensure compliance with UK MOD standards, STANAGs, DEF STANs, and data protection while driving QA improvements and tool implementation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in aerospace/defence manufacturing, with hands-on QA expertise, strong analytics, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in aerospace and/or defence manufacturing.
• Expert knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment.
• Demonstrable knowledge of NATO STANAGs and UK MOD Defence Standards (DEF STANs).
• Working knowledge of QMS software solutions and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and manage the execution of the QMS and its top-level processes. Coordinate resources and prioritization of tasks to complete internal and external audits of the QMS.
• Develop, lead, and manage the execution of the QMS software implementation and adoption across Anduril sites, including the London facility. Coordinate resources and prioritization of tasks to complete implementation, internal and external audits of the QMS.
• Ensure full compliance with UK regulatory requirements, including UK MOD Defence Standards (DEF STANs) and UKCA marking where applicable, and relevant HSE regulations for defence manufacturing environments.
• Drive compliance with STANAGs for aerospace quality, including STANAG 4107, STANAG 4159, STANAG 4161 and AQAPs.
• Ensure conformance to STANAG 4404 and AQAPs for software-intensive aerospace systems, including AQAP‑2210 as applicable to Lattice OS and embedded mission systems.
• Support implementation of STANAG 4685 (Airworthiness) requirements as they relate to quality assurance processes for unmanned aerial systems and aerospace components.
• Liaise with UK MOD QA representatives, DQA, and NATO QA authorities to support Government QA activities and audits.
• Partner with business systems, product quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers to prepare new processes, digital tools, and sites to meet QMS requirements.
• Develop our internal QMS road map for tools and capabilities to match scaling, with attention to UK Export Control and ITAR/EAR interface requirements.
