Job summary

Owen Daniels, based in Worcester, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function within a well‑established manufacturing business. You will develop and implement the quality strategy while remaining hands‑on with day‑to‑day management.

The role requires a strong manufacturing or engineering background, proven experience managing a quality team, and a track record of developing QMS, driving CI and ensuring high standards across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong background in manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Proven experience managing a Quality team.
• Experience developing and implementing QMS.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Quality strategy.
• Lead and develop the Quality team with clear direction.
• Own the QMS and ensure it is effective and compliant.
• Drive culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Manage internal and external audits and corrective actions.
• Monitor Quality KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances and customer issues.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Operations to improve processes.
• Support manufacturing processes, procedures and standards.
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and business requirements.
