Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a Quality Manager to define and drive the project quality strategy across offshore wind initiatives. You will lead QA/QC teams and collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with IEC standards and our quality framework.

The role emphasizes risk-based planning, audits, supplier qualification and continuous improvement, with international collaboration and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or comparable field.
• Quality auditor/manager qualification or equivalent.
• At least 5 years in QA/QC/QM in construction/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of offshore wind components and inspection requirements.
• Familiar with IEC 61400, BSH, DNV and EN 1090 standards.
• Strong leadership, cross-country teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the project quality strategy based on standards and risk-based approach.
• Set project quality objectives and plan quality resources and budgets.
• Develop audit guidelines, conduct audits, and evaluate non-conformities with root-cause analyses.
• Lead and support the project quality team and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Oversee supplier quality, qualification and continuous improvement.
• Prepare QA tender documents and evaluate supplier offers.
• Improve the quality framework, procedures, standards and best practices.
