Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is hiring a Risk Manager to implement and continuously improve end-to-end risk management across offshore operations. You will partner with Operations, develop best practices, and coach team members while maintaining high standards of accuracy and stakeholder engagement.

The role focuses on cross-functional risk governance, financial forecasting support, and reporting to site General Managers and Operational Directors. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in economics, business, engineering or a related field.
• Several years of relevant professional experience.
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing risk management processes, governance and audit activities.
• Knowledge of commercial processes, including financial planning and commercial risk management.
• High standards of accuracy, quality and follow-through.
• Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across departments and regions.
• Clear and effective communication across all organisational levels, from site teams to directors.
• Business-fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations teams to identify, quantify and treat risks through regular reviews.
• Coordinate input from subject matter experts across technical, commercial and corporate functions.
• Develop and implement best practices for risk identification, quantification, treatment, stress testing and lessons learned.
• Maintain data in the risk management tool for comparison and analysis.
• Analyse risk data to identify trends and priorities for allocating resources.
• Prepare risk reports and coordinate approvals for financial forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor critical risks and treatment measures against milestones.
• Provide coaching and guidance to Risk Management Specialists and wider business.
