Sir Robert McAlpine in Oxford is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality management across a landmark laboratory and research facilities project. You will partner with project leadership, supply chain and delivery teams to embed a proactive quality culture and ensure works meet specifications, standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in construction and engineering environment.
• HNC or equivalent in Engineering or construction discipline.
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations, Construction Law, and UK quality specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO9001:2015.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Effectively guide project teams in the day-to-day implementation of effective quality management practices.
• Work closely with site teams to identify and effectively manage quality risks whilst driving engagement.
• Support Design Teams to ensure that Quality risks are considered and addressed through design mitigation.
• Ensure Quality Package Risk Workshops sessions (or equivalent) are taking place within the appropriate timeframe at the commencement of each project.
• Review the effectiveness of project implementation of project quality risk controls over the life of their projects, paying particular attention to subcontractor controls like ITPs, benchmarks, void closures, mock-ups, etc.
• Conduct technical site quality inspections across every package to ensure quality performance.
• Champion the use of FieldView for inspections.
