Job summary

Comton Group in Shrewsbury is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality function in a manufacturing and engineering environment. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and maintain the Quality Management System in line with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

You will manage audits, corrective actions and supplier quality, mentor the Quality team and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Maintenance to deliver high product

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager in manufacturing.
• Automotive sector experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Experience with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 is desirable.
• Experience with audits, CAPAs and 8D problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality Management System in line with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Oversee internal, customer, process and supplier audits.
• Manage corrective actions and 8D/PPAP processes.
• Mentor Quality Inspectors and Engineers.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Maintenance to improve quality and efficiency.
