Job summary

Nicholas Associates in Alfreton is recruiting a Senior Quality Inspector for the Machining & Fabrication department. You will lead a team of experienced quality inspectors, measure and inspect detailed parts, and interpret engineering drawings using CMM machinery to ensure first article inspection compliance.

This permanent role offers 33 days holiday, 13 weeks sick pay, and a company pension. Location covers Alfreton and surrounding areas with Monday-Thursday 7:30–16:30 and Friday 7:30–14:00

Qualifications

• Ability to measure and inspect detailed machined and fabricated parts.
• Must be able to interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Ability to use and program CMM machinery.
• Experienced in FAIRS/first article inspection reports.

The basics:

Job Title: Senior Quality Inspector - Machining & Fabrication department.

Location: near Alfreton

Position: Permanent

Basic salary: up to £21.17 per hour / £42,932 per annum basic + overtime paid at 1.5 Monday to Saturday.

Hours: Monday-Thursday (7.30am-4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-2.00pm)
