Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector to lead the inspection team in a high-precision machining and fabrication environment near Alfreton.

You will work closely with the quality manager to uphold first-class standards, interpret detailed drawings, and coordinate with production to ensure quality across all parts.

The basics:

• Job Title: Senior Quality Inspector - Machining & Fabrication department.
• Location: near Alfreton
• Position: Permanent
• Basic salary: up to £21.17 per hour / £42,932 per annum basic + overtime paid at 1.5 Monday to Saturday.
• Hours: Monday-Thursday (7.30am-4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-2.00pm)
• Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, company pensions

Overview

Working within first class purpose built manufacturing facilities we now require a Quality Inspector to lead the inspection team. You will be tasked to lead a team of quality inspectors whilst working closely with the quality manager to maintain first class quality in this high precision manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate / Senior Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Ability to measure and inspect detailed machined and fabricated parts
• Must be able to interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Ability to use and program CMM machinery
• Experienced in FAIRS/first article inspection reports

Location: Alfreton, Heanor, Clay Cross, Hucknall and surrounding areas
