Taylor Woodrow is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality across a high-profile civil engineering and rail infrastructure project in Leyton, London. You will drive a strong quality culture, work with project teams and subcontractors, and ensure delivery to the highest standards.

Experience in London Underground, TfL or National Rail environments is highly beneficial, and you will help shape quality outcomes for current and future works within a major programme.

Qualifications

• This role requires a strong background in quality management on civil engineering/infrastructure projects.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and ITPs is essential.
• Proven ability to manage NCRs, audits and corrective actions.
• Experience supporting London Underground, TfL or National Rail projects is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote project quality standards, processes and procedures.
• Carry out quality inspections and site-based quality assurance activities.
• Support the implementation and management of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring prompt investigation, resolution and close-out.
• Conduct internal quality and systems audits.
• Support subcontractors and supply chain partners in meeting quality requirements.
• Respond to client quality queries and provide technical guidance where required.
• Champion a 'right first time' and defect-free culture across the project.
• Support document control activities and maintain accurate quality records.
• Lead or contribute to root cause investigations and corrective action plans.
• Provide guidance, coaching and training to project teams on quality processes and standards.
• Assist with project handover activities and the completion of quality documentation.
