Job summary

Aureos is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and enhance the quality management system across the Washwood Heath depot project for HS2. You will lead audits, define KPIs, and drive continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and client specifications across design to handover.

The role requires 8–10 years in quality management within infrastructure, with strong analytical and leadership skills for cross-functional teams. Occasional site travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in quality management within infrastructure or heavy industry.
• Experience developing and maintaining ISO 9001-based QMS.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), CAPAs, and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate quality processes from design to handover.
• Provide training on quality policies and tools.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
• Stay updated with new quality standards and technologies.

Job Summary**

AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED on behalf of Taylor Woodrow and Aureos Jv working on Washwood Heath for HS2 is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and enhance the quality management system across all the depot project. This role ensures adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications, driving continuous improvement in our services and deliverables.

Responsibilities**

• Develop, implement, and maintain TWA JV Quality Management System (BMS) in line with ISO standards and relevant industry best practices.
• Lead the planning and execution of internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality across various sectors of the project and departments.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineering, and operations departments to integrate quality processes throughout the project lifecycle, from design to execution and handover.
• Conduct regular reviews of project documentation, specifications, and procedures to ensure accuracy and alignment with quality standards.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality policies, procedures, and tools.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client quality inquiries and ensure client satisfaction regarding quality aspects of projects.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with new quality standards, regulations, and technologies relevant to the infrastructure sector.

Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management within the infrastructure, construction, or a related heavy industry sector.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (BMS) based on ISO 9001.
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in infrastructure project delivery.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to various project office and site as required.
• Experience working with HS2 is desirable but not essential.
