Job summary

Siemens Energy in Lincoln seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the production process, from design to audits. You will develop and implement QA protocols, analyze data from tests, and collaborate with engineering, production and supply chain to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires NVQ level 4–5 in engineering, an auditor qualification, 3+ years in quality engineering, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 4–5 in engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
• Conduct quality audits and inspections for compliance.
• Analyze data from quality tests to identify trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and supply chain to resolve issues.
• Participate in design and development to ensure quality from the start.
• Train and mentor team members on QA practices.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations and best practices in quality engineering.
