Job summary

Hypersonica GmbH in the United Kingdom is seeking a highly capable Quality Engineer to lead the QMS for a fast‑iterating hypersonic hardware programme aligned to an AS9100 pathway. You will own nonconformance processes end-to-end, driving containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and prevention with tight turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Quality engineer with 4+ years experience in aerospace, defence, or high-consequence hardware environments.
• Practical focus: deliver outcomes over paperwork.
• Experience closing NCR/MRB/concessions with fast corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and run a lean Quality Management System for a fast-iterating hypersonic hardware programme (AS9100 pathway).
• Own the nonconformance process end to end with containment, root cause, corrective actions, and prevention.
• Build quality backbone from prototype to flight hardware, including inspection planning and traceability.
