Job summary

Hypersonica is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to own quality across our UK supply base, turning capable suppliers into reliable aerospace production partners. You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to address risks at the source and qualify new suppliers as needed.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of aerospace quality processes, APQP/PPAP and FAI, with travel to suppliers as part of active supplier development.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier quality engineering within aerospace/defence hardware.
• Familiar with AS9100/AS9102 quality frameworks and related processes.
• Experience leading NCR, corrective actions and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier quality across Hypersonica's UK supply chain and lead audits.
• Define supplier quality requirements from prototype to production.
• Work with Design, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to resolve risks at source.
• Lead 8D, RCA investigations and supplier corrective actions.
• Ensure suppliers understand drawings, specifications and key characteristics.
• Travel to suppliers in the UK and internationally as needed.
