EMBS Engineering Ltd in Derby seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to own the quality function, maintaining AS9100/NADCAP compliance and driving continuous improvement. You will interact with customers, lead audits, and manage QA documentation to support a highly regulated aerospace environment.

The role offers ownership across quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives within a safety-critical manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and maintaining QA systems to AS9100 and NADCAP.
• 3–5 years in aerospace quality engineering role.
• Strong auditing experience with customers and NADCAP.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use inspection tools.
• Proficient in PFMEA, control plans and PPAP documentation.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and improve the QA system in line with AS9100, NADCAP and customer requirements.
• Develop structured quality walk-the-floor routine to identify issues.
• Act as primary contact for customer quality queries and resolutions.
• Review and implement new/updated customer requirements.
• Lead customer and NADCAP audits; maintain internal audit program.
