Job summary

EMBS Engineering in Redditch is seeking a Quality Engineer to own quality for aerospace parts from design to delivery. You will inspect and document parts, support customer qualification, and drive conformance with AS9100/AS9102 standards.

You will collaborate with NPI teams to ensure documentation, FAIRs, and quality packages meet customer requirements and industry standards. This full-time role offers growth in a growing aerospace manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards.
• Proven experience compiling First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Experience preparing quality documentation and customer qualification submissions.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage part quality end-to-end from design through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality engineering support across NPI projects with the project team.
• Take ownership of quality activities for aerospace parts from design through production and delivery.
• Compile and submit FAIRs in line with AS9102 requirements.
• Review inspection results to confirm conformity to drawings and specs.
• Prepare and review technical and quality documentation for part qualification.
• Submit qualification packages and supporting evidence to customers.
• Conduct internal procedure reviews to support AS standards compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and customer teams to resolve quality issues on new parts.
