Job summary

Hyde Group, a specialist in aerospace fabrication and welding, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to lead QA across fabrication, welding and NDT operations at our Dukinfield site. You will ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, drive root cause analysis, deliver corrective actions, and support NPI from a quality vantage point.

You will mentor Quality Inspectors, manage supplier quality, and collaborate with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to sustain exceptional

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace fabrication or welding.
• Deep knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience with FAIRs, PPAP, RCCA and auditing.
• Lead auditor qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for quality in fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• Lead internal, external audits and close non-conformances swiftly.
• Manage FAIRs, PPAP, APQP and other aerospace deliverables.
• Oversee supplier quality audits and corrective actions.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement 8D/5-Whys/Ishikawa actions.
• Support NPI from a quality perspective and mitigate risks.
• Lead quality improvement projects to reduce defects.
