Job summary

Hyde Group is recruiting two Quality Engineers to join the Divisional Quality Department at our Dukinfield area site. You will drive quality practices, support APQP/PPAP, and lead improvement initiatives across the Hyde Aero Products Division.

The role offers thorough training and development, with opportunities to progress to senior QA roles. Applicants should have a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and IT skills with MS Office.
• Proactive problem solving and attention to detail.
• Auditing experience or exposure desirable.
• Understanding of EN9100/ISO9001.

Responsibilities

• Initiative-taking quality-based problem solving to drive improvements.
• Root cause and corrective action analysis using 8D/Ishikawa/RCCA 5 Why.
• Management of non-conforming product and quarantine controls.
• Support with FAIR review and AS9102 compliance.
• Support with APQP/PPAP review for AS9145.
• Reviewing and verifying documentation for completeness.
• Consulting with suppliers and business units.
• Assist divisional internal audits against the IMS and customer standards.
• Lead quality requirement reviews to ensure customer compliance.
• Collaborate with Projects Dept as a quality specialist on NPI work packages.
• Support ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilise divisional KPI to drive improvements; UK Driving License required.
