A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Hereford Area!

With no day ever being the same the Senior Quality Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Supervising a team of 5 quality individuals - appraisals, 1to1s, disciplinaries
* Supporting New Product Introduction identifying suitability of products against customer specification
* Introduction and management of 5S in the main areas of the business
* Building and managing customer relationships as well as relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Participating in management meetings and ensuring KPI targets and CI goals are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* ISO accreditation and QMS management experience
* Understanding of six sigma tools to problem solve
* Experience completing internal audits in line with ISO9001 and ISO13485
* Supervisory experience - highly desirable
