Senior Quality Engineer - Clevedon, North Somerset

£37,000 - £43,000

9 Day working fortnight, 37hrs a week, 33 days holiday, onsite parking

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong UK & international presence, they are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their close-knit team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring compliance with quality standards ISO9001, ISO14001 in line with product and service standards.
  2. Root cause analysis, creating non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions.
  3. Use of process improvement tools - 5S, 5Y, 8D.
  4. Liaising with customers regarding problems and monitoring agreed corrective actions.
  5. Maintaining quality documentation, utilization of QMS systems.
  6. Internal and external audit management.
  7. Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  1. Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Degree.
  2. Proven experience working within manufacturing environments.
  3. Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 standards.
  4. Knowledge of CMM's, GD&T.
  5. Reading Engineering drawings.

Benefits Package:

£37,000 - £43,000
