Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Bridgwater to lead quality activities across customer, supplier, and internal interfaces. You will manage investigations, drive CAPA, and support audits to uphold high quality standards.

Key responsibilities include improving CAPA and PFMEA processes, analyzing quality data, and collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Production to enhance process performance and product quality. Salary £60,000-£65,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Quality Engineer or similar manufacturing quality role.
• Strong background in customer quality, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of CAPA, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and risk management tools.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, or similar standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead quality contact for customer, supplier, and internal quality issues.
• Lead investigations into complaints, deviations, and non-conformances, driving effective CAPA activities.
• Support customer audits, site visits, and quality performance reviews.
• Maintain and improve quality processes including CAPA, PFMEA, control plans, and risk management.
• Analyse quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and reduce repeat issues.
• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Production to improve process performance and product quality.
• Coach and support Quality Engineers to strengthen quality standards and best practices.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Bridgwater. You'll play a key role in managing customer quality issues, driving continuous improvement, and supporting quality excellence across the operation.
