Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Bristol is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with quality standards and to implement process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering and proven experience in manufacturing environments. The role offers a competitive salary of £37,000 - £43,000, along with a 9-day working fortnight and 33 days holiday.

Skills

Proven experience working within manufacturing environments

Knowledge of CMM's, GD&T

Reading Engineering drawings

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong UK & international presence they are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their close knit team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with quality standard ISO9001, ISO14001 in line with product and service standards
• Root cause analysis, creating non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions
• Use of process improvement tools - 5S, 5Y, 8D
• Liaising with customers regarding problems and monitor agreed corrective actions
• Maintaining quality documentation, utilization of QMS systems
• Internal and external audit management
• Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Degree
• Proven experience working within manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge to ISO9001, ISO4001 standards
• Knowledge of CMM\'s, GD&T
• Reading Engineering drawings
