Job summary

Owen Daniels in Poole is seeking an experienced Quality Control Team Leader to head the QC team in a high-precision manufacturing environment. You will oversee inspection and testing activities and play a key role in developing the team, driving continuous improvement and supporting new products and processes.

The role is permanent and salary is dependent on experience. You will lead daily workload planning, monitor performance and contribute to NPI and quality initiatives within a regulated

Qualifications

• Experience in a highly regulated industry in a quality control role.
• Strong technical competence and decision-making capabilities.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC team, including daily workload planning, setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Oversee quality inspection and testing, supporting inspection activities and measurement techniques.
• Develop team performance, ensuring induction, training, competency, probation reviews, and ongoing development.
• Drive quality and process improvement by implementing improvement initiatives and supporting NPI.
