Job summary

Harley House Supported Living is seeking a Quality & Compliance Lead to lead day-to-day QA and regulatory activities across services. The role will coordinate audits, ensure adherence to CQC standards, and drive improvement actions with managers and senior leaders.

The postholder will provide a visible quality presence, updating governance committees with trends, risks and action plans while maintaining data protection and policy accuracy.

Qualifications

• Level 4+ in Health & Social Care, Leadership, Quality Management or equivalent.
• Experience in adult social care environment.
• Good understanding of CQC regulations and regulatory expectations.
• Experience in quality assurance and audits.
• Full UK driving license with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate scheduled quality visits across services, triangulating evidence.
• Monitor compliance with CQC standards and local requirements, escalating risks.
• Coordinate organisational audit programme and deep dives, identifying themes.
• Develop and monitor quality improvement plans with managers.
• Provide safeguarding oversight and timely responsive reporting.
• Coordinate day-to-day CQC readiness and inspection preparation.
• Review policies and procedures to ensure current and compliant practice.
• Maintain the quality dashboard and produce evidence-based reports.
