Job summary

Verso Recruitment Group in Colchester is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to own the quality function in a c50-person electronics OEM. You will drive ISO9001 compliance and act as the technical quality lead with customers.

Qualifications

Strong experience in electronics manufacturing.
Proven background in quality engineering at a senior or lead level.
Hands‑on experience with ISO9001 and QMS ownership.
Confident communicator with the ability to work directly with customers.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, problem‑solving tools, and quality methodologies.

Responsibilities

Working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
Leading quality activities across the manufacturing process for electronic products.
Managing, maintaining, and improving the company’s QMS.
Ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and supporting audits.
Acting as a customer‑facing quality representative, handling queries and driving resolution.
Supporting root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
