Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance professional for a role in North Walsham, Norfolk, focusing on QA across product and process within a manufacturing setting.

You will lead QA activities, coordinate external/internal audits (BRCGS, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001) and drive investigations into non-conformances. You will develop SOPs and quality documents and engage with customers on complaints.

Qualifications

• Efficient communicator capable of dealing with external customers and internal teams.
• Inquisitive nature with sound judgement and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience working in a manufacturing QA role and auditing ISOs/BRCGS is essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality assurance across product, non-conformances & process improvements.
• Key Quality KPI areas: Process Capability, Scrap, Product Quarantine, Customer Complaints, Loss of Business, Warranty Complaints.
• Support investigations for external & internal non-conformances.
• Involved with internal & external audits - BRCGS, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001.
• Deal directly with customers about complaints & returns, implement corrective measures.
• Develop new and existing SOPs, quality documents, policies & procedures.

Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi-billion-pound global manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance professional to deal with quality assurance across product and process.

As the Senior Quality Assurance person your key role & responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for quality assurance across product, non-conformances & process improvements


• Key Quality KPi Areas:- Process Capability Scrap, Product Quarantine, Customer Complaints, Loss of Business, Warrant Complaints


• Support the investigation for external & internal non-conformances


• Involved with internal & external audits - BRCGS, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001


• Deal directly with customers about complaints & returns, resolve problems and put in place corrective measures for future quality scope


• Development of new & existing SOP's, quality documents, policies & procedures

Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be the Senior Quality Assurance person:

• Experience of working in a similar quality role within manufacturing


• Internal auditing to ISO standards and BRCGS


• Efficient & effective communicator - dealing with external customers & internal teams


• Inquisitive nature, sound judgement with a continuous improvement mindset


• Qualifications - HACCP, COSHH, Six Sigma


• Previous experience of using QMS


• Laboratory testing experience - beneficial
